The Cowlitz proposal
Dear voters, as you know the final decision rests with the Bureau of Indian affairs who are people who don't even live here. I oppose the mega-casino proposal and wish to continue to work against it as many of you have expressed some real disapproval. I can't see it will profit us - only the billionaire investors. The mega-casino will probably cause our card rooms to disappear; no one wants to see a 3 million dollar a year tax payer go away and the jobs it provides. Moreover, I'm convinced it would harm property values because it would cause extreme congestion at our freeway interchange and cause irreparable enviornmental damage for generations to come. If negotiations happen it is my job to consider your interests first: Honor me with your vote and I will do just that.
